Partnership
Hi - thanks for checking us out. We're a family partnership - Keith and
Cathy Burrow - who have worked together in many parts of the world and now enjoy a self funded "semi
retirement" in Far North Queensland and Perth.
We have always enjoyed adventure, freedom and independence as
well as travelling and living in other cultures. Fortunately these
passions have been amply fulfilled over the years - at first through our work
as commercial pilots and now through the freedom and independence
we have earned after years of working for ourselves.
Preferring freedom to a security and a
superannuation that is controlled by others we followed the
work and lived in many parts of the world. Following years as sports parachutists we became
commercial pilots and flew solo and multi-crew (including ferry
flights) throughout Europe, Papua New Guinea, the remote Marshall
Islands in the Central Pacific and the USA, as well as in outback Western Australia and Queensland.
Remembering the early years in a long partnership
The B and W times in a land we loved with people we loved

2011 and
Saipan's Yesteryear:

In Saipan a few
days after the devastating March 2011 Japanese Tsunami -
remembering the Japanese children and parents who jumped to their death
at Banzai Cliff ..
and seeking the spirit of Amelia Earhart. She is rumored to have been
held prisoner as a spy in this old Japanese Jail after her 1937 failed
around the world attempt. My heart was telling me she might have been
here, but my mind tells me that she and Noonan lie at the bottom
of the Pacific Ocean somewhere near Howland Island - the destination
they never reached

Our daughter, who also loved living in other cultures,
later worked as a volunteer in Bangladesh. She and our
Australian born granddaughter and her father, a doctor from
Bangladesh, now live in Western Australia. Although re-married with
new partners and families, both parents still live in Perth with shared custody and in
friendly, close contact. Our granddaughter is especially fortunate to enjoy the best
of Australia's own blend of multi-culturalism - and the best of
three cultures (Islam from her Bangladeshi family, an agnostic
humanism from her Australian mother, and a Uniting Church Christianity
from her stepfather). Our grandson will, we expect, choose for
himself the best from each ..
Today, more than in our
youth, Australia is a vibrant mix of many fascinating cultures, and
while we loved living an unencumbered life as guests in other peoples
lands - we always knew where our hearts lay and where we
would come to rest.
Over the years we saved and invested in
this great country of our's - one "girt by sea" that, as our
national anthem extols, "abounds in nature's gifts" ... with "
golden soil" and "wealth for toil".
Australia is a land of opportunity.
It has "boundless plains to share" with "those who've come
across the seas" .. as did we all, or our forebears, first come
- at some time or another.
It is, of course, the land we all call "home".
Today,
as fully self funded "retirees" we appreciate a greater
control and freedom, as well as independence from state
and/or employer, that we did not have in earlier years
The freedom has been worth the wait, the
hard work and the deferred gratification
Our
general philosophy:
- As well as a
strong belief in the work ethic, we believe in honesty, fairness
and transparency by all the parties in any transaction. We
operate only under the relevant State's Residential Act and take
as personal guidelines 2 universal principles - viz: "The Golden Rule" and
"No Free Lunch"
We have spent more
years as Lessees than Lessors and know that
Australia's Residential Tenancies Acts are amongst the fairest in the world for both parties
in any Tenancy Lease Agreement.

- We respect
everyone's right to fairness, privacy, respect and
confidentiality.
- Our ABN is 35 668 991 408
(Residential Property is input taxed - which means that although tenants are NOT charged
GST on their rents, landlords cannot claim back the GST they are charged for maintenance
and management etc. of their properties).
